The fabulous Wendy Johnson has designed this stunning fairisle cowl in our djinni sock yarn. The cowl starts with a provisional cast-on and is worked in a tube. The knitting itself is relatively simple: if you have done two-color stranded knitting in the round, you will have no difficulties with this pattern. While it looks complex, remember that you are only working one row at a time. The instructions in the pattern are written out, but the pattern is all in charts.
-Four 4 oz skeins Dragonfly Fibers Djinni, 80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon (2 skeins of each color)
-A Ravelry download code to download an electronic version of the pattern (Note- if you would prefer a paper copy of the pattern, please send an email to contact@dragonfly fibers.com and we will include one with your order)
Additional Supplies Needed:
-US Size 3 circular needles, or size needed to get gauge (7.5 sts = 1")
-Tapestry needle, stitch markers, waste yarn
The sample is knit in Heliotrope and Silver Fox. We also offer the kit in Jocelyn and Radioactive for those who like their colors a little more daring!
