As described by the designer: ‘Companion hat to the Apfelwein cowl. The same cables-over-ribbing stitch pattern is used to give texture and stretch. Bulky yarn means it knits up quickly and no blocking is necessary. The cables require a couple of steps but are not difficult. Instructions for working cables with and without a cable needle are given.’
