As described by the designer: ‘This cowl is crocheted in joined rounds, using two contrasting colorways of variegated hand-dyed yarn. The undesired “pooling” or patterning of variegated yarns (which occurs more often in crochet) is avoided by changing stitch patterns and alternating yarn colors. A slip-stitched I-cord is laced through the top round and then cinched to the desired fit. Pattern is appropriate for an advanced beginner.’
