Gyre and Gimble

As described by the designer: ‘Beginning at one end and working straight through to the other; this scarf combines knitting stripes with slipped stitches and lace techniques to create the illusion of an embroidered surface. There is no stranding of yarn, only one color is being knitted with at any given time.’

Each color uses about 400 yards.
