Estero Cowl

by Hilary Smith Callis

From Ravelry:  “Created in collaboration with the Yarnover Truck for the 2018 San Diego Yarn Crawl, Estero is a lacey cowl designed to mimic the look of an asymmetrical triangular shawl wrapped around the neck. Estero is knit flat with a series of increases and decreases forming its shape, while stripes of Stockinette stitch and a simple lace pattern grow from one corner to the next. One little seam up the back makes it a cowl. Just one skein of sport or a heavier fingering weight yarn (in this case, a gorgeous sapphire blue from Dragonfly Fibers) is all it takes for this substantial shawl-cowl hybrid, so it’s a great stashbuster as well.”
